Our Assistance Dogs Program rescues dogs from animal shelters and humane societies to become Hearing Dogs for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. If you are interested in receiving a Hearing Dog from us, and would like to visit our facility, please contact us.

Dogs that do not complete training are adopted out as “Career Change Dogs” to families who would like a nice companion.

The Sam Simon Foundation’s mobile clinic provides FREE spay/neuter services to cats and dogs belonging to low-income residents of the City of Los Angeles.  Our state-of-the-art hospital on wheels features a surgical suite capable of sterilizing 25-40 cats and dogs a day.  The mobile clinic operates Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in predesignated areas throughout the City of Los Angeles.  You may view this month’s calendar to find a location near you, or you may call us to make an appointment at our toll-free bilingual number: 1-888-DOG-SPAY (1-888-364-7729-Voice/TTY)

"Yo, Dawg! Neuter Your Dog!"                    

To spread the word about our free spay/neuter services, we created wonderful posters in both English and Spanish.  These posters feature boxing superstars posing with large-breed dogs.  If you are interested in receiving posters for your facility, you may send an email request (please include your name, phone numbers, address you would like them sent to, which posters you would like and how many), or you may contact us at (310) 457-5898.

We are a 501 C3 non-profit organization privately funded through the generosity of Mr. Sam Simon so we do not accept any public donations.  WE OFFER THESE SERVICES FREE OF COST TO ALL RECIPIENTS OF OUR PROGRAMS.
